Two motorcycle racing women - Ana Carrasco & Jane Daniels
Motorcycle racing was considered, for a very long time, a sport exclusive for men. However, in the last years we have noticed that the girls are more talented than everyone believed, and equally as competitive. Two of the most impressive motorcycle women racers are Ana Carrasco and Jane Daniels.
- Ana Carrasco was born in Spain where the women are not supposed to do what people think are “manly jobs”. However, she was so passionate about racing that she decided that she would make a place for women in this sport, and she did! She was the first female rider in the world to score points on the Moto3 class during the Malaysian Grand Prix competition in 2013.
- Jane Daniels impressed everyone from the very beginning of her career. Although she is only 23 years old, she is already the number one female endurance driver in the UK, and this is not an easy title to achieve regardless of gender. She was ranked 12th in the Expert class in the Tough One endurance competition. It was quite a feat because she managed to do this so very early in her career and without much formal training. In the next few years she is planning to make a name for herself in competitions all over the world.
